Nursing Home Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary:

The reimbursement specialist is responsible for insuring the assigned engagements are completed in a timely fashion using the resources provided by the firm while maintaining the standards set forth by the firm’s Health Care department. Individual is responsible for various health care consulting services for the firm including: preparation of third party rate appeals, supervision of cost report preparation process, calculation and verification of nursing home Medicaid rates, assistance with audit personnel on health care issues, preparation of Certificate of Need forms, review and assistance with Department of Health audits.

Responsibilities:

Perform duties with a minimum of supervision
Direct staff assistants
Interact with client to facilitate workflow

Education and Experience requirements:

Experienced with Medicaid and Medicare Billing Procedures
Minimum of five years industry experience
CPA or CMA preferred

Physical Requirements:

Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities
