Home Billing Specialist Job Summary: The billing specialist is responsible for insuring the assigned engagements are completed in a timely fashion while maintaining the standards set forth by the firm’s Health Care department. He/she performs corporate compliance auditing and review services for nursing home clients. Individiual should be familiar with all regulatory issues applicable to third party billing practices. Individual will occasionally assist and/or supervise clients in third party billing procedures. Collections a plus. Bookkeeping and/or accounting experience helpful but not required. Responsibilities: Perform duties with a minimum of supervision Direct staff assistants Interact with client to facilitate workflow Education and Experience requirements: Experienced with Medicaid and Medicare Billing Procedures Minimum of five years industry experience CPA or CMA preferred Physical Requirements: Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational abilities |
